Born in La Jolla, California this composer, educator, and saxophonist acknowledges and respects music’s ability to move and transform energy. It is with this passion and love that Daniel continues to be a living legend. Known in Japan as the mysterious Mr. Jackson, Daniel represents the essential fibers in the culture of modern Jazz. After establishing a legacy of creative relationships with the likes of the late Ray Charles, Wes Montgomery, and Cannonball Adderley, Daniel emerges to the forefront as a unique and much needed voice in music and art. His latest recording collaboration presents an afro indigenous frame with a fluid blue melody, giving birth to an infectious song of dance and meditation called The Jaguar. Daniel has traveled the world as a performer and has been recognized for his virtuosity by the California Arts Council, City of San Diego, and San Diego Music Awards. This multi-talented individual has dedicated his life to the magic of music.
